The phrase “organic salvation” may sound strange at first, but there is biblical ground to this term. The Bible reveals that the judicial redemption Christ accomplished for all mankind on the cross opened the way for God to dispense His life into us. Now with God’s life in us, our job is to cooperate with Him and allow His life to fully accomplish it’s goal, which we will see in this series!
God’s salvation begins with the forgiveness of sins and the judicial redemption Christ accomplished for us on the cross. God’s salvation continues with the spreading of His life from our spirit, to our soul, and eventually to our body. This is God’s complete salvation.
John 3:6 reveals that when we were regenerated (saved), our spirit was born of God’s Spirit. Now God’s life is in us, and our need is to cooperate with life’s inner working to be saved much more in His life. This much more salvation is the Lord’s inward shepherding.
