God will not move on the earth unless He has a people on the earth that chose to side with Him. In this series we look at the lives of three men to learn from them principles that will guide us into being such people for God today.
Samuel means Hear of God. We all want to be a people who have been heard of God. Samuel learned how to be a person who knew God, and worked with God to change the age he was living in. At the time of Samuel God’s people were in a very poor state, but God used Samuel to recover His people. In this message we learn some principles that teach us to become a people heard of God, and used by God for His purpose.
A battle between God and Satan is raging. Seemingly everything that God had gained on the earth was lost. It is during this time that God raised up young men, Daniel and his companions, to move His plan forward. We can learn from Daniel how to live today, in the midst of a godless generation, an overcoming life that represents God.
The New Testament, composed of 27 books, was written by several people. Over half the New Testament was written by a brother named Paul. In the beginning, however, Paul was a religious zealot obstinately holding onto the Jewish tradition and opposing God by persecuting the Christians, even unto death. In this message we learn what turned such a person from being a persecutor to being a lover of Christ, and apply those principles to ourselves.
