Diligent
Only a diligent person is useful in the Lord’s hands. If a person is slothful, and avoids bearing responsibility because it is too difficult, it is nearly impossible for this person to be fully useful to the Lord. The Lord wants us to do many things on His behalf, but he needs us to be willing to put aside our desire for ease and comfort and pick up His burden.

The Worker of the Lord
Christians know that it’s important to love the Lord. Christians know that it’s important to serve the Lord. But how does one serve the Lord? What kind of person does one need to be in order to work for the Lord and work with the Lord? Join us in our new series entitled “The Worker of the Lord” as we learn various aspects of what qualifies us to work for the Lord and have a service to others that’s well pleasing to God.
A Good Listener
The Lord wants to do many things in us and through us to reach more people, and to be His workers we must have a personal life that is well pleasing to the Lord in every aspect. After this, the first important lesson in learning how to be a worker of the Lord is to stop our active mind and listen to the people the Lord has put in front of us. If we do, the Lord can move through us to meet their real deep need.
A Lover of Men
If someone wants to serve the Lord, they have to love what He loves. The Lord loves people. He’s not interested in things and matters as much as He is interested and invested in people. Learning to be a worker of the Lord involves allowing the Lord’s love for man to grow in us until our hearts match His.
A Mind to Suffer
Serving the Lord is not easy. It involves many trials and tribulations. If we are to serve the Lord faithfully, we need to have a mind to suffer. Having a mind to suffer does not mean we belittle ourselves, but it means we identify ourselves with the Lord Jesus and let Him impart His mind to suffer into our mind.
Buffeting the Body
Our spirit is willing to follow the Lord, but our flesh is weak. The Bible also says that sin dwells in our flesh, and our old man makes it impossible for us to obey the Lord. With this in mind, we need to learn how to buffet our body and make it our slave. That is, we need to learn to let the cross of Christ operate in our being, subdue the desires of our flesh, and make our body serve our holy calling as the Lord’s servants.

Who We Are
We are believers in Jesus Christ who have received Him as our Savior.
He is the most excellent and enjoyable Person! We love Him and endeavor to give Him the first place in all things. We rejoice to be cleansed by the blood of Jesus, partake of the divine life, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and be brought into the fellowship of the Body of Christ.
What We Believe
We hold the faith common to all believers (Titus 1:4 Jude 1:3)

The Bible
The Bible is the complete divine revelation inspired word-by-word by God through the Holy Spirit – 2 Peter 1:21, 2 Timothy 3:16

Redemption
Jesus died on the cross for our sins, shedding His blood for our redemption – 1 Peter 2:24, Ephesians 1:7a

Salvation Through Faith
Whenever any person repents to God and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, he is regenerated (born again) and becomes a living member of the one Body of Christ – Acts 20:21, John 3:3, Ephesians 1:22-23, Romans 12:5
The Good News
Have you ever wondered what the meaning of life is? Have you ever wondered why you feel empty after you get what you’ve always wanted? You’re not alone.
The good news is that the answer can be found in the Bible:
God Created Man to Express Him
God desires to express Himself through man (Gen. 1:26). For this purpose, He created man in His own image and made him as a vessel to contain Him (Rom. 8:29).
Man Fell and Jesus Christ Redeemed
But before man could receive God into him, sin entered into him (Rom. 5:12). Nevertheless, Jesus Christ died on the cross to take away his sin and bring him back to God (John 1:29; Eph. 2:13).
God is Spreading in the Hearts of His Believers
After a believer receives Christ, God begins the lifelong process of gradually spreading Himself as life from the believer’s spirit, into his soul and body (1 Thess. 5:23). This causes man to express God and fulfill his true purpose.
