Current Series:
The Missing Piece

Have you ever read the Bible and told yourself, “I don’t understand what I’m reading”? You’re not alone. The Bible is a mystery. Some even say it’s a jigsaw puzzle with many scattered pieces that you have to put together in order to see a clear picture of what it’s trying to convey. Many have been able to put the pieces together, all to come short of the missing piece that completes the puzzle; the crucial revelation of life! In this series we explore how God reveals Himself in the Bible as life to His people, and how this crucial revelation enables us to understand every verse of the entire Bible!

Genesis Chapter One

The Bible is a mystery, and the Bible actually unlocks this mystery in its first chapter. From the beginning of the Bible we can see that God is a God of life, and what God is mainly focused on in this chapter is not conveying to us how the created universe was made, but why He made it; to give Himself to His people!

Image and Dominion

Why were you created? What is the purpose of human existence? Image and Dominion. The Bible reveals this clearly in chapter one of the book of Genesis. God created us with the unique ability to express of all His communicable attributes (love, light, holiness, righteousness, etc.), to reign with Him as co-kings on the earth, and ultimately deal with His enemy, Satan.

Aspects of Eating Revealed in the Bible

God is a God of life, and as such, He wants man to live a dependent life, i.e. a life where we depend on Him as our very sustenance. We cannot graduate from eating food, because it’s a necessary aspect of life that enables us to live. However, we can graduate from school with a certain amount of knowledge, because knowledge in and of itself does not sustain the human life. It is for this very reason that the Bible is full of pictures that point to our need to have God in our daily diet for us to not only live physically, but moreover, to live spiritually.

Aspects of Drinking Revealed in the Bible

Drinking is just as important as eating. Maybe even more. Humans can survive for a certain length of time without eating food, but the amount of time a human can survive without drinking is much shorter. In the same way, our daily habit of eating healthy spiritual food needs to be matched all the more with a constant habit of drinking healthy spiritual drink. This matter of drinking is revealed extensively in the Bible, just as much as eating!

The Flow of Life

God has been flowing all throughout the ages, even in eternity past, with the goal of reaching man. When He reaches man, His desire is for the flow to continue, even to deepen in man. Eventually, His desire is for this flow to reach others, and bring all of His people to eternity future, where He and His people will enjoy His flowing life, and all the riches of God that come with it, for eternity.

Who We Are

We are believers in Jesus Christ who have received Him as our Savior.

He is the most excellent and enjoyable Person! We love Him and endeavor to give Him the first place in all things. We rejoice to be cleansed by the blood of Jesus, partake of the divine life, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and be brought into the fellowship of the Body of Christ.

What We Believe

We hold the faith common to all believers (Titus 1:4 Jude 1:3)

The Bible

The Bible is the complete divine revelation inspired word-by-word by God through the Holy Spirit – 2 Peter 1:21, 2 Timothy 3:16

Redemption

Jesus died on the cross for our sins, shedding His blood for our redemption – 1 Peter 2:24, Ephesians 1:7a

Salvation Through Faith

Whenever any person repents to God and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, he is regenerated (born again) and becomes a living member of the one Body of Christ – Acts 20:21, John 3:3, Ephesians 1:22-23, Romans 12:5

The Good News

Have you ever wondered what the meaning of life is? Have you ever wondered why you feel empty after you get what you’ve always wanted? You’re not alone.

The good news is that the answer can be found in the Bible:

God Created Man to Express Him

God desires to express Himself through man (Gen. 1:26). For this purpose, He created man in His own image and made him as a vessel to contain Him (Rom. 8:29).

Man Fell and Jesus Christ Redeemed

But before man could receive God into him, sin entered into him (Rom. 5:12). Nevertheless, Jesus Christ died on the cross to take away his sin and bring him back to God (John 1:29; Eph. 2:13).

God is Spreading in the Hearts of His Believers

After a believer receives Christ, God begins the lifelong process of gradually spreading Himself as life from the believer’s spirit, into his soul and body (1 Thess. 5:23). This causes man to express God and fulfill his true purpose.
