The New Testament begins with four accounts of the life of Jesus Christ. These accounts portray four different aspects of Jesus Christ; as a man (Luke), a king (Matthew), a slave (Mark), and God Himself (John). These aspects of Christ actually correspond to a heavenly vision Ezekiel received in his time. Join us as we learn more of who our wonderful Christ is to us in our experience.
Jesus Christ is the most wonderful Person in the universe! In this series as with the heavenly vision Ezekiel saw, we begin with a fresh appreciation and realization of Jesus as a normal and proper man.
Jesus Christ is the most normal and proper man, and also the most genuine and beautiful. What makes Him such a man is the fact that He possesses these characteristics on the inside and expresses them in His human living.
Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Matthew is revealed as the King-Savior. He is bold and strong against the enemy in every aspect of His life and work.
As the King-Savior He is victorious and reigning. Now that He lives in us, we have Him as our ability to reign and life and claim victory of every earthly frustration.
The Gospel of Mark reveals that Christ is the slave-savior working diligently and faithfully to accomplish God’s will. We can take Him as our diligence and faithfulness.
John shows us that Christ, as God Himself is hidden yet powerful like an eagle. These are characteristics of the life of God which we as His believers now possess.
John also shows us that Christ, as God Himself is buoyant and transcendent like an eagle. As His believers, we can express these wonderful attributes in the ups and downs of our daily life.
